The ILO requires a Communication Agency to design and implement OSH and Gender campaign in industry parks across Oromia, Hawassa and Bole Lemi.
The overall objective is to curb the gender gap and OSH deficits in the garment and textile industry, the Siraye programme designed various interventions at the factory, sectorial, regional and national level. As part of the intervention at the factory level, the programme would like to design a multi-platform campaign targeting factory workers and employers to tackle the above mentioned OSH deficit and Gender equality in the garment and textile industry.
The selected service provider will be working very closely with ILOs communication officer and programme team to determine appropriate campaign strategy and implementation plan for the task at hand. The selected service provider is also expected to gather insight from workers and managers that will help inform the campaign strategy and implementation plan. We encourage service provider to prototype campaign format and messaging with target audience before final delivery.

Based on the approved campaign strategy, Production and delivery of campaign material that lives on print, TV, Radio and on the ground events (we expect the campaign to include –but not limited to- key visual A3 posters, short TV and radio PSAs, catchy jingles, mobilizing key Ethiopian influencers, flyer distribution, campaign event in and around industry parks)
Production of 3 short illustrative induction videos (max 3 min) on OSH, Gender equality and Ethiopian labour law proclamation
Qualification and Expertise:
Proven experience in developing and executing campaign plan.
Experienced staff on campaign strategy, design, creative concept development, and audio visual production.
Proven experience in conducting awareness creation campaign events
Understanding of the gender dynamic and OSH issues in the garment and textile industry.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a short amount of time Experience working with UN agencies is an asset. Working experience in the garment and textile industry is an asset
